Emma Watson is smart and articulate and right on. I read this article on my way home and found myself slightly dumbfounded by this excerpt from her .
“Our society in general devalues the she, I mean the qualities that are associated with the feminine that are found in all of us.”
“There’s this imbalance, this distortion that is just hindering our progress, it’s causing discord, violence and fear the world over.”
I couldn’t agree more – it’s great how she’s managed to communicate this with clarity and in a way that it would be hard for anyone to disagree with. I certainly felt a little bit more inspired after reading it and I’m going to watch the interview, even though I actively try to avoid anything to do with Facebook.
